Affiliate Link

A tracked URL that earns the referring site a commission when a purchase is made through it.

Also known as: referral link, partner link

An affiliate link is a unique tracked URL assigned to a publisher or referral partner. When a user clicks the link and completes a qualifying purchase, the referring site earns a commission from the product or service provider. The commission is paid by the seller, not by the buyer.

Affiliate links are disclosed on BeforeYouBuyX.com per FTC guidelines. The presence of affiliate links does not influence our editorial evaluations. We publish honest pros, cons, limitations, and alternatives regardless of affiliate relationships.
